Pumpkin Exploration
This week students are Exploring Pumpkins. We started our morning off by measuring, weighing, and drawing our pumpkin. We also made predictions about our pumpkin... How many seeds are inside? Will our pumpkin Sink or Float in Water? Later that after noon it was time to cut into our pumpkin and see what is inside. Students were quite surprised to see so many seeds and feel how gooey the inside of our pumpkin was.

Fall is in the Air
This week we are jumping into our mini fall unit before our next big unit. This week students dove into apple exploration. We read The Apple Pie Tree and made a list of ingredients we would need to make an Apple Pie... but the best part was tasting this delicious treat.
